Our private equity/venture capital activities involve investments in unlisted companies. Our investments are usually in equity (where we seek to acquire significant minority stake) and/or quasi-equity instruments such as convertible debt.

As a private equity investor we are active and hands-on. We foster growth in our investee companies through our assistance to management, participation in strategic decision making through our involvement in and representation on the board of directors.

We expect to achieve a minimum of 25% Internal Rate of Return (IRR) from each investment over the life of the investment.

We look for projects and companies that generate strong and sustainable cash flows and are attractive at exit to both existing entrepreneurs and potential investors (including our funds).

We expect to achieve a positive impact on the economy and our stakeholders by ensuring sustainability of our investee companies, compliance with local laws and regulations and sound social and enviromental management practices.
